The City Water Debate

The City Water Debate, ' Water - the Future', sponsored by the Wet 10, an informal group of the ten Livery Companies most involved in the supply and use of water, will be held on Monday 5th March 2012 at Farmers and Fletchers' Hall, 3 Cloth Street, London EC1A 7LD starting at 6 for 6.30pm.

The event, which will be conducted under Chatham House Rules, will comprise speeches by

Professor SIr John Beddington, Government Chief Scientific Advisor, and

Baron Redesdale, Vice- Chair of All Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group, who recently set up the Water Efficiency Certificate.

These will be followed by questions and debate with a reception afterwards. Each Livery is invited to submit a question in advance so that all aspects of the water cycle are covered.

If you are interested in attending this event, which is open to all, but non-Liveryman must apply through a Liveryman, please contact Jeremy Courtney on 01825 840242 or by email.
